Welcome
A practical guide to widely-available AI tools — what's universally accessible, what requires request, and how to develop the muscle memory to reach for the right one without thinking.
Most people pick one tool and use it for everything. That's a mistake — the gap between using the right tool and the wrong tool can be 10× in quality and time.
The two tiers
Widely accessible, typically no special request needed. You already picked your free assistant back in Ignite (ChatGPT at chatgpt.com, Gemini at gemini.google.com, Claude at claude.ai, or Grok at grok.com) — that choice stands, and every required exercise can be completed using just that one. This module shows you when to add a second surface next to it, and when your assistant alone is enough.
- Your AI assistant
- The free assistant you chose in Ignite (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Grok at grok.com) — your primary tool for everything.
- In-app assistants
- chat and inline assistance built into apps you already use — a bonus if your other tools have it.
- AI agents
- assistants you set up once to do a recurring job on their own — one example of saved, reusable assistants.
- Saved assistants
- a custom assistant you configure once and reuse — another way to save effort if your tool offers it.
